Culture & Heritage Preservation

In our Cultural Heritage Programs, we project heritage studies, cultural and environmental resources management as engines of development and instruments for opening up new fields of activities to strengthen cultural resilience and foster economic growth of communities in rural Nigeria.

We do these through advocacy for Heritage Studies in Schools to stimulate the study of traditional arts, rejuvenation of native languages as we train Volunteers (teachers and creative artists) to organize quiz and arts competitions for Primary and Post-primary schools in hard-to-reach communities in order to drive home the heritage studies program in Africa.

We promote cultural advocacy, conservation and environmental resources management programmes to sustain authentic cultural traditions in order to tap new opportunities for the protection of the biodiversity, promote traditional festivals, skills and technologies and engender virile intercultural group relations, peace building and integration in a multi-cultural society.
