Social Enterprise: This is one of the initiatives of the foundation in building a network of social investors for social-economic development. The ever-widening circle of change in the society and the challenges facing our environment have renewed our concern to strengthen the strands that connect our shared human experience and build trust for an inclusive growth and sustainable development of our communities within a corporate Social Enterprise.

SOCIAL ENTERPRISE NETWORK for AFRICA is one of AFIDFF programs that support social innovation, entrepreneurship development, and community-led initiatives across Africa. SENA operates a resource center that provides support to Africa’s social entrepreneurs, innovators, businesses, and youth-led programs by providing custom-made capacity building training, workshops, business, legal and financial support to suit developmental challenges in communities.  AFIDFF aims to inspire, mobilize and support African youth to realize their potential as social entrepreneurs while building their skills, developing new social enterprise activity, and overcoming unemployment.

What We Do

SENA supports social entrepreneurship and community projects by sharing knowledge, collaborating, human resource supply, and financial sustainability, including partnerships with local and international stakeholders to build Africa’s social entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.

Our objectives are:

1. Committing to capacity building, mentorship, networking, and formation of the next generation of social entrepreneurs.
2. Encouraging innovation and social shift towards entrepreneurship.
3. Promote the concept of human-centered technologies focused on economic, social, and environmental development.
