It's in this beautiful space that storytellers are revered, and among them, one luminary shines brightly: TigerFireRose. With an unparalleled gift for spinning tales that captivate hearts and minds alike, Tiger Firerose has rightfully earned the title of Storyteller of the Month. Let's delve into the intrigue behind her artistry and why she stands out in a sea of storytellers.
The Genesis of a Dreamer
Enitan Esiobu's journey into the realm of storytelling began amidst the vibrant tapestry of her childhood in Nigeria. From an early age, she was enchanted by the glamour and intricacies of movies, where stories came alive and storytelling was at its peak. Inspired by the magic of these tales, Enitan discovered her gift for weaving narratives that captured the imagination and stirred the soul.

Enitan always knew that she would end up being a storyteller irrespective of where life takes her. While growing up, she was a straight A-student with a desire to be a doctor but she also wanted to be on the big screen which led her to settle with being a filmmaking doctor. She also had a passion for organizing events in school and making sure that everything went smoothly, which inevitably resulted in her love for producing. At some point, she had even indulged in acting but finally settled with writing.
She began as an intern as the Special Assistant on Creatives at Kingsley Ogoro Academy while she was still in her alma mater, Lagos State University, Ojo, studying Microbiology. Over time, she built a reputable brand for herself. It wasn't long before TigerFireRose's talent began to garner recognition when one of Africa's largest production studios, Africa Magic, hired her to manage a number of their commissioned projects. Her adaptability and inventiveness allowed her to quickly become well-known in the media. She has gotten the chance to direct, write, and produce several projects for firms like Bam Media and Teen Nation, as well as create and produce drama series for radio on behalf of ExxonMobil and the Akin Fadeyi Foundation.
Nurturing the Flame
As Enitan Esiobu grew older, she recognized the transformative potential of the digital landscape as a platform for storytelling. Under the pseudonym TigerFireRose, she began to share her stories with a global audience, harnessing the power of technology to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Through her evocative prose and vivid imagery, she transported her audience to worlds both familiar and fantastical, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts and minds.
Her production house, TigerFireRose Media, has allowed her to write, direct, and produce projects, which she describes as “relatable human stories.” Some of the notable works are Hello, Two Kobo Short, To Freedom, Tomorrow, and many more.
At the core of Tiger Fire Rose's creative vision lies an unwavering belief in the transformative power of storytelling. In an interview with The Nollywood Reporter, she candidly shared her profound connection to the art of narrative, stating, "I don't want to get to heaven and say I had a million stories in me, but I was fine with just telling 50." These words encapsulate the essence of her artistic ethos—a relentless pursuit of self-expression and a commitment to honouring the stories that dwell within the depths of her soul.
VINAFRIQ
In addition to her stories that are published by TigerFireRose Media, she has become a prominent advocate for inclusivity and diversity in the African community. Another artistic outlet she has employed is Vinafriq, which she has used to "preserve our African heritage in timeless videos." According to her, Vinafriq is a project that encompasses a range of subjects, including hairdressing, local games, cuisine, and cultural customs. It is described as the leading guide on true African culture and practices, and this is done by employing an effective technique of storytelling. One of the most popular series under Vinafriq is the guide on how to make vintage African hairstyles.
