NIGERIAN REDCROSS SIGNS MoU with AFIDFF, REITERATE COMMITMENT TO DUTY MARCH 2022

The African International Festival Foundation and the Nigeria Red Cross Society have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen the ties between both organizations and improve in different ways to better the life of Nigerians in health, cultural preservation and disaster management.

This MoU signing will focus on the objective of health surveillance, emergency preparedness, voluntarism and workforce development. It is closely noted that the need for strong collaboration between organizations in ensuring global health security cannot be reemphasized; the Director General AFIDFF, Malame Mangzha reiterated that the partnership between both organizations will contribute to ensuring the country is much safer and less vulnerable, adequate youth involvement, workforce and succor will reach the communities AFIDFF visits with support from the Red Cross.

This partnership avails the opportunities for both organizations to learn from each other by working together and sharing expertise, the core objectives can be attained. Malame said that AFIDFF looks forward to building on this cooperation and improving global health security and workforce.
