AFIDFF Holds Strategic Team Retreat to Strengthen Alignment and Future Direction

The African International Documentary Festival Foundation (AFIDFF), on 12th February 2026, held a strategic team retreat aimed at strengthening organizational alignment, evaluating internal systems, and refining priorities for the coming months.

The retreat provided a structured space for reflection on AFIDFF’s mission, values, and long-term vision. Team members engaged in discussions focused on role clarity, operational efficiency, documentation systems, communication flow, and sustainable growth. These conversations were designed to reinforce internal cohesion and enhance the organization’s capacity to deliver high-quality cultural heritage, volunteerism, and youth engagement initiatives.

Participants also identified areas for improvement and committed to practical action steps, including improved planning timelines, clearer documentation processes, and stronger coordination mechanisms.

The retreat concluded with renewed commitment to excellence, accountability, and collaboration as AFIDFF continues to expand its impact across heritage preservation, development storytelling, and youth empowerment.

For AFIDFF, the retreat marks not just a moment of reflection but a strategic step forward.
