Documentary Meet and Greet

In Abuja on October 28, 2023, a group of American volunteers, under the guidance of Dr. Robert Lee Lawson, were warmly welcomed by Hon. Rambi Ayala and Mrs. Malame Manghza, Director-General of the African International Documentary Festival Foundation (AFIDFF).

Their visit was intended to establish connections with missionaries and gain a deeper understanding of their mission in Nigeria, focusing particularly on evangelism and providing free medical aid in Gombe State. Dr. Lawson highlighted their approach, stating, "Our goal is to integrate evangelism with our medical initiatives, utilizing our talents in medicine to assist those in need, as bestowed upon us by God."

H.E Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki also extended a welcome to the delegates and generously supported in Logistics to facilitate the missionaries' outreach efforts during their stay in Gombe.

Hon. Rambi Ayala, representing Hope Springs International, expressed his appreciation for the volunteers' decision to extend their outreach to his state, with the aim of uplifting the local community. Mrs. Malame Manghza, in her comments, commended the team's dedicated efforts and sacrifices in making the visit possible, emphasizing the significance of documenting the visit. She encouraged the volunteers to explore Nigeria's vibrant culture and artistic heritage, despite the existing socio-economic challenges.
