The African International Documentary Festival Foundation together with the Nigerian National Commission for UNESCO (NATCOM) and the National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM) on Thursday, 15th April 2021 visited Adamawa state for a stakeholders meeting with partners on the Sukur World Heritage Volunteers Program.

The African International Documentary Festival Foundation (AFIDFF) and the National Commission for Museum and Monuments(NCMM) on Tuesday 2^nd February 2021 have signed a memorandum of understanding under which both organizations will collaborate to promote young creatives/artisans in the development of arts and cultural heritage to meet global prominence.

The Directorate of the African International Documentary Festival Foundation led by the Director General, Mrs Malame Mangzha on Wednesday 26th February 2020 paid a courtesy call on the High Commissioner of the Republic of Tanzania to Nigeria, His Excellency, Dr. Benson Alfred Bana at the High Commission of the United Republic of Tanzania Abuja.

It was a great evening on Tuesday 21st January 2020  with  the U.S Ambassador to Nigeria, Ms. Mary Beth Leonard at her residence on the invitation of American Music Concert with Huntertones Band.

The AFIDFF team  on 15^th October, 2019 met with the leadership of the Cultural Affairs Section of the US Embassy and was received by Sterling D. Tilley Jr  to express their appreciation for the support of the Embassy at the just concluded Program of Nigeria @ 59 with the theme; Our Strength in Diversity: Retelling the Nigerian Story.

In the build up to our Independence day event, on Monday 21st September 2019. The AFIDFF team paid a courtesy visit to Mahesh Swaminathan MD, the Country Director, CDC Nigeria, US center for Disease Control and Prevention Abuja.

The African International Documentary Festival Foundation held its first edition of the Independence Day Documentary Challenge and Screening on Thursday, 26th September 2019 at the Banquet hall of the National Centre for Women Development Abuja, Nigeria. 

Today 12th September,2019. The AFIDFF team paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Faisal Shuaibu, Executive Director/CEO National Primary Health Care  Development  Agency (NPHCDA). The Director received the team with joy as he briefed us on government efforts in achieving universal health coverage.

I would like to first say that it is an honor and a privilege to work with AFIDFF. This Foundation, Festival and Web Platform are very special because they provide an essential form of demarginalization through storytelling and documentaries.

It was a wonderful one as the  leadership of AFIDFF met with the Honorable Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Dame Pauline Tallen, an avid lover of development and capacity building of Women and Youth on Tuesday 10th September, 2019.
